Contest / Fundraiser

Greetings!

I have been running an Artist Development Platform called Artist Reach (formerly known as Pact Society) since 2013. Though it's mostly dedicated to music...awareness is also something I've dedicated the company to. The one I'm choosing to pursue right now is one I can highly relate to: Muscular Dystrophy. Here's why...

I JUST lost both of my twin younger brothers to this disease. My brother Aryn passed away October 9th, 2010. He lived to the age of 20.

Erik passed away January 2nd, 2013. A lot more recent. He lived to 22. You can find both of their pictures at the bottom of this page.

Both were predicted by the doctors not to make it passed 18. So I see it as we got to be with them on God's time when they made it as far as they did.

I made a community announcement that I wanted to do a fundraiser with some door prizes. We did a small fundraiser at a local VFW...but it mostly broke even. So now I'm taking the idea to my Social Media Networks.

The contest: We have some donated goods we will be giving away. We have gift cards to Best Buy, Target, Starbucks, GameStop, and more. We also have some Yankees Tickets, iPads, and iPods to give away as well. These items were donated by the community after a local advertisement was made on behalf of the cause shortly after my second brother died.

How to enter: ANY donation of ANY amount will be entered! We accept donations via PayPal, or we can provide a mailing address for you to send a check, cash, or money order. Any donation 20$ or more will be entered twice!
To donate with PayPal, use this email: FindTheCure2014@outlook.com

ALL donations will go to research centers and MD support groups to help other families that can't afford proper medications or treatment in my hometown area of Ithaca, NY. A few of the families we know personally. We are also trying to arrange a trip for the families to go to Disney World kinda like Make-A-Wish foundation, who recently rejected them, so I wanna help create these miracles for these patients and their families. We also are hoping to raise enough to travel to some different hospitals throughout parts of the country to share music and hope with MD patients currently fighting for their lives.

No proceeds or "commission" payments are given to me, or anyone. I'm strictly pursuing this project to help others, and to contribute to the sciences behind finding a cure for this disease. The case my brothers had was Duchenne. The worst case you can get.

Words can't express how grateful I would be if any of you out there participate. It's a win/win: You get a great shot at winning some cool stuff, and you're helping a GREAT cause that I know my brothers up in heaven would be so grateful for. I love and miss them every day, so I'll do whatever I can to produce the best results I can.

If you're unable to help out or contribute. It's okay! We would like to thank you for taking the time out to read this!

Now in case you wanna try and get a chance at being entered into the contest for free, there's a way!

Share this page by posting it on yours, pass it to a friend, colleague, or co-worker...if anyone you refer this contest to ends up giving out a donation, you get entered for EACH PERSON that donated!

Thank you so much again for reading this. Again, all PayPal donations go to Account: FindTheCure2014@outlook.com and include your Name in the payment notes.

We love and appreciate each and every one of you! Happy Springtime!

-Justyn, CEO of Artist Reach LLC

  2. We have so many diseases affecting children that need cures. A very wise "firefly" in a children's program once said "a lot can be accomplished if we all work together". Imagine how much research could be done if we all gave even a little. Best of luck in your good efforts.

  11. Thank you all so much. You've been such an amazing and inspiring group of wonderful people with such big hearts. Any efforts from simply reading about the awareness to even donating a dollar is appreciation that is endless. I am doing everything I can to reach our crowd funding campaign goal. I don't care if it exhausts me every day...this is for my brothers and other families desperately trying to find a cure...I couldn't save my brothers in time. So this is my opportunity to try to save the families currently suffering.

So again, thank you for having such kindness and for the big hearts you all have. If anybody that hasn't donated wishes to, even if it's just a dollar, the PayPal again is FindTheCure2014@outlook.com
